SmartClick's relationship with Linksoul grew incrementally over time, initially managing just a few pieces of the digital marketing pie and later expanding scope dramatically as we proved ourselves.
Initially Linksoul simply engaged SmartClick to run Facebook and Instagram ads for the company. This included regular static ads, but also Video ads and carousel ads. With rigorous A/B testing and analysis, SmartClick was able to squeeze out a strong positive 3:1 ROI and nearly doubled online revenue from $1.5 million to 2.5 million in year 1 and $3.4 million in year 2.
As the brand evolved and SmartClick continued to prove themselves adept at translating the brand vision into great advertising campaigns, selling in even more creative ideas and taking even more risks, SmartClick were able to grow revenue to $5.5 million in year 3 and $8.1 million in year 4.
At this point SmartClick was able to take over management paid search and online shopping platforms. SmartClick set up paid search campaigns on Google in a much more sophisticated way, which reduced average cost/click and cost/conversion dramatically. They expanded paid search to Bing and Yahoo! They modified and optimized the feeds for shopping and retargeting ads. All these changes combined allowed us to grow revenue for the brand to $13.2 million in year 8.
All combined, over an 8-year period SmartClick's digital marketing programs were the backbone of a digital marketing program that grew revenue by over 800%- that's an annual revenue growth rate of over 31%!
