SmartClick Partners with Criteo to Enhance Google Shopping Campaign Performance And Drive A 47% Increase in ROAS And A 51% Increase in Revenue
SALT LAKE CITY, UT – April 6, 2017 –
U.S.-Based Digital Agency, SmartClick Advertising, announced today that their partnership to test Criteo’s new Predictive Search product has driven in a 47% increase in return on ad spend and a 51% increase in online revenue for an online retail client over a 90-day test period. Using Criteo Predictive Search, SmartClick and Criteo were able to increase conversions by 137% year on year for the client.

Powered by machine-learning algorithms, Criteo Predicitive Search gives clients a smarter, more user and product-specific bidding solution, to manage bids on Google Shopping campaigns for complex online retail campaigns. Some of the campaigns SmartClick manages include hundreds of thousands of SKU’s and at that scale, it’s real challenge to manage bids and optimize performance.
Before Predictive Search, SmartClick had tested many automated bid management tools for online campaigns, but they all underperformed vs. human management. SmartClick sought a more sophisticated tool and found that Criteo had developed something quite special with Criteo Predictive Search.
In the fall of 2016 SmartClick began testing Criteo’s product with a large online retailer who had plateaued in its revenue on the Google Shopping platform. Criteo Predictive Search allowed Smart Click to take a brand that had plateaued on the platform and more than double conversions year on year.
