Glen Spencer, Chief Creativity Officer
Spence has over 20 years experience in consumer brand management and online marketing. Before SmartClick he held various senior management positions as the U.S. Division President of Intrepid Travel, the largest adventure travel company in the world, as President of niche adventure travel company Off The Map Expeditions, and as President of e-commerce outdoor retailer, MountainMonkey.com. He started his career in marketing working in brand management with Unilever, Heinz, and Pizza Hut. He has an MBA in Marketing and Management from Columbia Business School and a BA from Brigham Young University in American Studies. He lives in Boulder with his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
Drew Clements, Vice President Digital Media and Innovation
Drew uses his analytical background to drive sales with tactical ad campaigns in both awareness and direct response efforts across all the major search engines. He is Google AdWords certified. Before coming to SmartClick, Drew worked in venture capital with EPIC Ventures as a junior analyst, where he did extensive market research. He also worked in outdoor retail and tourism as a marketing intern with Zion Adventure Company, just outside of Zion National Park. Drew graduated summa cum laude from BYU-Idaho in 2010 with a major in business management and a blended minor in marketing, web design, and entrepreneurship. He was also the President of the American Marketing Association's BYU-Idaho Chapter.
Kenton Anderson, Digital Projects Manager
Kenton comes to SmartClick as a 2011 graduate of BYU Idaho's Marketing program. He is Google AdWords certified. Kenton's strong background in design and photography, combined with his skills as a designer make him our go-to guy for design projects at SmartClick. His experience includes work as the Internet Marketing Manager for Educational Management Systems in Rexburg, ID.
Lauren Counce, Advertising Copywriter
Lauren is a recent hire from local Boulder creative agency Victors & Spoils. She has a degree in English Literature from CU Boulder with honors, as well as a post-grad certificate from Humber College in Advertising Copywriting. Her clever wit and gift with words add strong new capabilities to SmartClick's creative work.
Daniel Connell, Search Engine Marketing Coordinator
Daniel comes to SmartClick from crowdsourced AdWords marketing firm Trada. Upon graduation from the University of North Florida he found himself in several endeavors. He then moved to Boulder, Colorado in pursuit of living in the rock climbing Mecca of the world and would there find his niche in online marketing. Daniel has worked alongside some of the biggest names in Search, is Google AdWords certified and uses his sales and analytical skills to assess and implement successful campaign strategies.
Wendy Ferrell, Coordinator, Influencer Outreach
Wendy, works to engage with bloggers and other influencers for SmartClick's consumer brand clients. She speaks the language of mom bloggers and can relate in a unique way as a mom herself. Wendy has a degree in English from the University of Texas, El Paso, and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
