Bel-Rea Vet Tech is the largest veterinary technician school in the U.S. didn’t have any Facebook fans, which meant no one was seeing their posts.
SmartClick set up a sophisticated targeting campaign to engage Facebook users who liked Bel-Rea competitors and collinear brands. We also built a special Facebook app that let users take a fun quiz in exchange for a “LIKE.” And finally we did ad testing to hone in on the best ad strategy and best targeting.
In year one, Bel-Rea Facebook fans grew to 40,000 at an average of $0.15 a fan. A high engagement rate showed that we drove high quality fans.
