The Problem
Rodizio Grill, a national Brazilian fine-dining restaurant franchise had low margins which meant they had a low advertising budget. They didn’t have any Facebook friends, which meant they didn’t have anyone to talk to when they posted.
The Action
We offered a “Free Meal on Your Birthday” via a special Facebook page app we built, which delivered a coupon in exchange for an email address.
The Result
The promotion added 10,000 Facebook fans and 10,000 new names to the brand’s email database. No one goes to a restaurant alone on their birthday, so they made money on every fan. High engagement rates for Facebook posts showed that we drove high quality fans to their page.
