SALT LAKE CITY, UT – April 22, 2015

Online marketing agency, SmartClick Advertising announced today that upstart Golf clothing manufacturer and catalog retailer Linksoul has chosen the agency as their new digital marketing partner.

Linksoul is a 4-year old brand founded by golf wear pioneer John Ashworth, who sold his original golf clothing company to Calloway Golf over a decade ago. The idea behind Linksoul is a golf lifestyle brand so different and so special that it disrupts the category.

“There is simply no question in our minds that Linksoul will be HUGE,” says Glen Spencer, SmartClick’s Managing Partner, “Most new golf brands look like every other golf brand, or are just too out there, but Linksoul combines golf with a youthful, surf-inspired ethos.”

Linksoul’s soulful golf wear catalogs have been the brand’s main customer acquisition tool for the past few years. But, online catalogs are expensive, so part of the charge for SmartClick Advertising will be to develop online customer acquisition strategies that beat the cost/acquisition the brand is currently seeing with catalogs mailed to prospects.

In the meantime, SmartClick is excited to embrace Linksoul’s tagline: “Make Par, Not War.”
